Volunteer Committees of Art Museums of Canada and the United States VCAM is an internationally recognized non-profit organization corporation founded 1952 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and run by art museum volunteers.

Our MISSION is to remain committed to providing a forum for information exchange, mutual education and enhancement of services to its art museum volunteer committee members through international conferences, regional meetings, published comprehensive conference reports, resource files, the website and the VCAM NEWS publication.

Our VISION is to become for North America and internationally the leading volunteer resource for innovative ideas in producing revenue streams with information exchange on recruiting and retaining volunteers, developing docent programs and lecture techniques and other services provided by a museum volunteer corps.
